Events on cooperation and conflict

On 25-26 April 2019, University College Dublin hosted a workshop on conflict, security and global justice. 

University College Dublin hosted a workshop on gender justice and the EU’s external policies on 29-30 November, analysing the gender dimensions within all the issue areas covered in the GLOBUS project: climate change, trade and development, migration, and security and conflict.

University College Dublin hosted a workshop on gender and security in October 2018, examining the EU's gender frameworks' relation to the Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP). 

On Thursday 23 August, University College Dublin held a GLOBUS research seminar. It focused on a range of issues such as gender, climate change, European foreign policy, and development. 

Sonia Lucarelli gave a keynote lecture at the third NASP International Workshop on Conflicts and Institutions in Genoa on 26 June. 

A workshop on migration and terrorism was held at the University of Bologna in June 2018. 

On 28 May, Sonia Lucarelli will visit the Centre for European Research in Gothenburg to give a lecture entitled 'Ontological security and the Methamorphisis of the Beast: the EU and Migration'. 

GLOBUS researcher Heidi Riley attended a seminar on Women, peace, and security on 7 March. 

GLOBUS partner Dr Deep K. Datta-Ray from the O.P. Jindal Global University gave a lecture on Indian defence policy on 24 January 2018. 

GLOBUS researchers chaired the section The European Union: Promoting or obstructing global justice at the EISA conference on International Relations in Barcelona, September 2017.
